Race Day!
What is brown water advisory?? It is when the run off water from the mountains enters the streams and oceans contaminating it with feces and other contaminates. Doesn't that sound like an open invitation to get right into it?!?!?! YES and to have a race while there is WIND! First canoe paddling race of the season and we were faced with crazy circumstances. wind.... rain..... and me being out of shape. Heres to a week of hard training and payback for not winning >.<
You go girl! You gotta do what you gotta do, and those paddling coaches won't put up with whining. I took paddling in high school for a little while, paddling with hui nalu, it was a long long time ago. But best of luck and I hope you win lot's of races! xoxo
